Tri-County Hunger Walk

Our first monthly fundraising event will be the Tri-County Hunger Walk on Saturday, September 26, at Donovan Park, 5805 Knoxville Avenue in Peoria.

The walk raises awareness of hunger in our community while collecting food for local pantries. The entry fee is simply one healthy, shelf-stable food item per walker. Additional food and monetary donations are welcome but not required.

Please register for the Tri-County Hunger Walk by September 25. Walk-ins are also welcome.

We will meet at the park before 9:50 a.m. so we can assemble as a Peoria-North Rotary group before the walk begins. Please wear a Rotary shirt, hat, or other Rotary attire so our club’s support will be visible.

Friends and family are welcome, so bring your walking shoes, your food donation, and anyone who would like to join us in taking a few steps against hunger.
